Gridfinity, made to measure

Snap a photo. Print a bin that fits.

GridScan turns a single photo of any tool into a 3D printable Gridfinity bin with a cutout shaped exactly to it. No measuring, no modelling.

Four steps from photo to bin

  1. Print the calibration sheet

Print the free sheet and place your tool on it. The printed markers tell GridScan the real size and angle.

  2. Take one photo

Photograph your tool on the sheet from above. Phone or webcam, both work.

  3. Tap your tool

Tap once on the tool. The built in AI isolates its exact outline for you.

  4. Download and print

GridScan builds a Gridfinity compatible bin with a matching cutout. Export STL or 3MF and print.

Common questions

  • Do I need an account?

No. Building bins and previewing them is free, and your models are saved so you can reload them later. A one-time premium unlock adds downloads and folders.

  • What do I need to print the calibration sheet?

Any A4, A3, or US Letter printer. The sheet is a free download in the tool.

  • Which printers are supported?

Any FDM or resin printer. Export STL or 3MF and slice as usual (premium).

  • Is my data private?

Photos are processed entirely in your browser. Only the small design data and a thumbnail are saved so you can reload your models.
