This is a plain-language summary of how GridScan handles your data. It is written to be honest and clear. It is not legal advice.

What runs in your browser

The builder itself runs on your device: the AI segmentation, the calibration, the 3D geometry, and the STL and 3MF export all happen locally. Your recent models are stored only in your browser unless you buy premium.

Photos you build with

When you build a bin from a photo, that photo is uploaded to GridScan so we can see how the tool is being used and improve it. We store these photos in our own Cloudflare storage. We do not sell them. If you would like a photo removed, email us at the address below.

If you buy premium

Premium is a one-time payment that unlocks a cloud library with folders. To process it we collect your name and email, which are used to create your invoice (through Moneybird) and to email you a sign-in link (through Emailit). Your saved designs are stored as small parameters plus a thumbnail in our Cloudflare database and storage. There is no subscription.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
